This website's purpose is to highlight and document news and opinions related to the disconcerting events In The Hague on the 27th of June in 2011. On this day unprovoked police violence was used against protesters at a peaceful protest in The Hague against the way budget cuts in arts and culture are being implemented by the Dutch government. Many people got beaten down and arrested for no reason by the police and its mobile unit which did exactly the opposite of what they should have done; preventing disturbance of the public order. Let's not forget what happened on the 27th of June!

   Deze beelden schoot ik tijdens de demonstratie..toen het grimmig werd, de ME dan..ben ik weggegaan..eenmaal achter de rug van de ME zag ik het buitensporige geweld tegen een van de arrestanten. Daar heb ik dan weer geen beelden van, foon leeg..

   Sterkte aan alle getroffen kunstenaars.
